What a week it has been in Primary 6! We have learnt a lot including a drama on St Cuthbert's life. We are doing well but i think that we could try harder and really get it polished up to perfection before next week's Mass. Our highlights include learning about Marther Luther King's life and what he did for civil rights. It was the 50th anniversry of his 'I Have a Dream' speech and we felt emotional watching him deliver it. We also got our Viking names. The Vikings are our project. We listened to a story about Odin, the one-eyed Viking god. In art, we finished our peer portraits on each other. We enjoyed writing stories using a stimulus by Anthony Browne.

We really enjoyed the week and we hope you like reading our blog!

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Miss Finn and I have the pleasure of teaching a lovely group of children in P6. We have been getting to know each other and the children have been super helpful setting me and our new boy right. It seems I am in good company by being Irish and a Celtic supporter :-) We look forward to sharing our learning with you over the year.
